Post error with shipping

Hi, I am trying to post my listing and unable to. I keep getting an error that I must specify a shipping amount. However, I do not want to quote the amount in my listing as it will be actual shipping charges. I have not idea what this will cost. It is a very heavy box. I do not want to specify the amount and then have to carry through with that if it ends up costing me more. Why can I not just have it say "contact seller for s/h amount?" Thanks

eBay does not allow that. They have a new policy requiring you to specify your shipping. Package the stuff up and weigh it. Then use the shipping calculator in your listing. That is the only thing you can do, you must state the shipping.
