When do buyers begin to purchase on a normal buying trend post Christmas / New Years Eve?

Do you continue to list regardless? Business as usual?

If you hold back on listing - when do you start up again after the holidays?

I wasn't planning on listing this week but last night I put up a test auction for Full Moon. I did a 3 day FPL with the Get it Fast option and it sold while I was sleeping!

So today I'm listing FPL for 3 days with the Get it Fast option and I sold 2 already, one less then 30 minutes after posting it

I sent a few eCloset store items to FPL the same as above but nothing yet.

Are buyers using the Express shipping?

I tried to add the 'Get It Fast' and it doesn't show up as an option. Oh well.

Congrats!

I think I will continue to list.

Yeah it seems that lingerie makes a great list minute gift

No one has used the express shipping option yet buy I normally ship Priority so there was still time to use that.

I posted a few small items (earrings) with low opening bid and low, low shipping, just to get some people into my store. I figure women might want to buy something low cost for themselves--you know, after shopping for everyone else! I can't say the auctions are doing that great--but they still might. But I HAVE sold items from my store. So, all in all, it was a good thing.

I sell old junque and I am not launching any more auctions now. I still am working and saving listings to run on FLD or Dime Day or whatever we get graced with this year.

I threw a few items up and some have received bids. I don't think .99 cents works well overall. Unless you're eValueville - all nwt Macy's overstock type of inventory. Going low at $7.95 to $9.95 seems to work well. It depends on what you're selling.

Anyway, I'm getting ready for the new year as well.

I tend to start all my auctions at 70 cents; basically what it costs me to list them. I don't take too many chances, though - I always research completed auctions for pricing and make sure a high win wasn't a fluke.

I list overstock cosmetic inventory, myself. I enjoy it a great deal

Three more on my 3 day FPL's sold today

If they want it in time for Christmas the only option after tonight is Express. I'm hitting the PO at 8am to make sure these 3 get there in time!

Finally a test that paid off for me, guess if you keep trying you finally get something right

Good for you! Yes, testing is essential. I'm ready for a productive and porfitable year in 2006. Time to make my dreams a reality. A lot of work but I'm more than ready. I have a target goal in my mind's eye and that's it, I'm going to do it.

You can do it, you have the perfect source and you have come a long way. Your store and your listings look great!

BTW - 5 more tonight but some were the leftovers of my failed .99 auctions and not paid for yet.

They have about 10 more minutes to pay if they wanna make my early morning run to the PO. Should be the last one before the holidays
