I have seen a problem with using the US Postal Service and either Optional or Required Insurance for 1st Class International. In essence, eBay doesn't recognize 1st Class International as eligible for Insurance by the carrier (USPS), so a Calculated rate can't be displayed. I dont offer any insurance as its down to the seller to self insure the items under uk law.

Pretty sure as you say the problem comes from ebay with the gtc listings when they are reloaded by ebay with some bits missing.

The way we figured-out the Insurance problem on the USPS International was revising and revising and revising an active listing until we hit upon the cause of the conflict.

You might try revising an active listing to see what it will accept to get the International postage to show. Sometimes, eBay's editor gives a reason that's not obvious on Auctiva's editor (or caught with ERROR CHECK).

Also, it's possible Auctiva's editor might now give a cause. You could try editing an old Saved Listing and see if ERROR CHECK has anything to say on the problem.

I would also suggest you enter a Support Case, so the Auctiva folks have an alert on the problem.

I loosely refer to these odd listing problems as "eBay Think", i.e. they only see things their way and any alternative simply doesn't exist, like alternate Insurance plans. You almost have to put yourself in their mindset to figure out what's causing the problem.
