Where do i find this when doing my listing for ebay? I don't see the option on autiva. it is cheaper to use pre filled information for listings, but I cant find it. Please advise! Thanks.
You have to choose your category first. Then it pops up underneath it. You click the "item specifics" link that appears, and you can add them in. Some categories will also pop up a link for you to add custom specifics as well. If you do not choose your category first, you can not see the specifics either.
After you choose your catagory, click on the link that says "Find Item." This will bring up a new window. For books, type in the ISBN number. For some other catagories, use the UPC code. There are also options for finding the item by title, author or keywords for items without ISBNs or UPC codes. Sometimes an item is not in the database, and you are just out of luck, but most of the time you will find it.
This isnt pre filled item information however. I was just in a 2 hour debate with Ebay over this. The pre filled item information is not "item specifics" that it shows on here. So, if you pay close attention to your billing, which I do... you are not being charged only the .05, you are being charged like .15 or something. Because you are not using pre filled information (which the lady told me can only really be obtained by doing your auctions on ebay.) There has got to be a different way to do this.
You must click Find Product. Not Item Specifics. Then you can list by ISBN to get the prefilled if it exists for that book. You will be charged the correct amount even if Auctiva's estimate is wrong.
