Problem creating a shipping profile

I just absolutely LOVE the service here, but I seem to be hitting a minor glitch. It's probably "operator error" so please bear with me.

I want to use templates I have made in the past for my SIL's stuff. She needs "plug n play" because she's an html novice.

In trying to set her up with some of my converted templates I have hit a wall trying to create shipping profiles for her. I have the templates added to the custom template section and everything went great. My templates all have a payment/shipping section separate from the description so I used the [PAY_SHIP_DETAILS] tag.

I am using Windows XP with Firefox browser and when I go to create a new shipping profile the WYSIWYG editor pops up but I can't click or type inside that box. It's driving me crazy. I have tried the ol' clear cache/reboot thing and everything to no avail.

In leiu of creating a "profile" is there anywhere within the form for creating a new listing where the [PAY_SHIP_DETAILS] tag will grab the info from? Like the Description area has?

Just wondering...I can always remove the separate Shipping Details section of the template and just have her include that info in the description, but I'd really like to be able to set up some profiles for her.

Puh-leeeeeeese don't ask me to use IE. lol

Hi signsintime,

Yes, there is. To create a shipping & payment details statement, you can go to Auctiva -> Listings(tab), then click the "Shipping & Payment Details" link.

Then, when you're creating your listing, you can select your shipping & payment details from the "Select Ship/Pay details" pull down menu on the lister page...it's just to the right of the counter pull down menu. Once you have selected a shipping & payment details from that pull down menu, the infomation contained within it will be displayed where your [PAY_SHIP_DETAILS] tag is on the template.

Hi Mike! Thanks so much for your reply! Actually, tho, this is what I was talking about that didn't work on the first couple of tries. It would "lock up" on me and I couldn't get my cursor to show up when clicking in the text editor for the Shipping & Payment Details.

It wasn't until after I posted that I realized I had erroneously referred to it as a "profile".

I got it to work for me once, tho, so maybe I can walk my SIL through it on the phone. I think she uses IE so maybe it will work as intended for her.
