Problem Saving Detail Profile w/ consignment de-selected

Newbie here with a problem saving a detail profile. When I deselect the consignment check-mark on the detail profile page and save the profile, the change doesn't take effect. I still get the consignment box checked. What am I doing wrong?

A similar problem appears when I try to change the shipping location from a zip code to a specific text location in shipping profiles.
