Problem switching back from Fixed Price to Auction type

I'm having problem editing my listing.

I'm trying to switch from Fixed Price format back to Auction type. It keeps throwing me this error

Ad did not save for the following reason:

* Best Offer Auto-Accept Price must be less than Buy It Now Price.

I have deleted the Buy It Now Price, the Best Offer values. The only value left is the Starting price of Auction but it still doesn't help. I just want a pure Auction format without any Buy It Now price.

Any idea?

Hi,

Is this a Saved Listing or are you trying to revise an active listing at eBay? If it's the later, you can't change listing formats.

Hi tumlum,

I just had the same thing happen to me. I wanted to change some Fixed Price to Auction and only about half of them went through. I ended up having to copy/paste my descriptions and starting them all over again as new Saved Listings (it was either that, or lose my mind LOL)

They were all Saved Listings, not relists, and error check said they were ok but no go. I still don't know what I could have done any differently to fix them, I tried everything
