Problem uploading photo's from iphoto in Mac to Auctiva uploader.....please help! :)

Thanks for posting about this behavior here. We have heard about this recent change from a couple other users and have been able to reproduce the problem in house, but it appears to be a side effect of a recent update to iPhoto and I'm afraid there is not anything we can do to resolve the problem at this time.

If the developer of our image uploader releases a new version of the uploader that addresses this problem, we may be able to incorporate it into our site and allow you to upload directly from iPhoto once again but I'm not sure if that will happen.

For the time being, the workaround of moving the photos you would like to upload to your desktop (or a folder on your desktop) that you discovered is the best way to approach this situation.

I realize it has been a few weeks since you created this thread, but I figured I would update it in case anyone else that is experiencing the same problem comes across it. Mike - I'm having problems with Auctiva's Uploader with a Mac, also.

However, I have always dragged photos in mass into the upload window from my desktop, not directly from Iphoto.

Starting last week, any image I drop into the upload window simply shows up enlarged in Mac Preview, but does not end up in your Upload window. As a result, I have to use the HTML uploader, which takes forever of course.

So I think the problem may lie with Auctiva, and have nothing to do with Iphoto.
