I've not seen this addressed before.

I'm having problems with the form "freezing" at various stages of the listing process. I finally got wise and now copy my discription text before I try to do anything else.

Sometimes it's picture loading that causes the problem but it's also been selecting a template, checking Ebay fees and actually posting. With the exception of posting, I'll get a new window and an hourglass. This never resolves and I have to close the entire window, open a new one and begin the listing anew. It happens on nearly every auction I list, whether using "list similar" or "list new."

I can't use FireFox as it wreaks havoc with other parts of my computer.

I've also had problems with the description disappearing but that is minor compared to the rest of it.

Also, God forbid, I click something that brings up a window that says "You have changes. Do you want to save them?" There's no hope after that. No matter what I click or don't click, the listing evaporates.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Mrs Parker.

What kind of havoc? Firefox would actually be my recommendation.

Also, if the page ever freezes up when you're trying to save be sure to check your Saved Listings page to make sure it didn't actually save -- that's happened a couple of times to me and I was happy to see that the save actually went through..
Hi Mrs Parker, Youll notice that when your listings are freezing if you look down on the status bar at the bottom ( assuming you have it engaged) your going to see in the address somewhere .....yadda yadda yadda "iframeupdate"...yadda yadda yadda. This is what is causing your freeze up most likely. Its doing its thing and your clicking buttons or typing etc. and everything you've input gets put on hold till its done doing its thing.

Sometimes you can just stop and wait a few seconds until its done and it will unfreeze. I usually just hit the STOP button on the browser and that takes care of it. Occasionally ( not often) no matter what I do it does not unfreeze. But most of the time just hitting the stop button will take care of it.

Also, just make sure that the iframeupdate is not running when you hit the save button..just look in the status bar bottom left..if its running just wait till its done. Hope this helps you..it does me...Good Luck, William
I am having this problem too. I asked Auctiva for help and they gave me a list of things to try but nothing has helped so far. One thing they have suggested I do is use Firefox or IE 6.0 - I am worried about downloading this in case it overrides what I am using at the moment - can anyone tell me if it will mess things up or do you use Firefox independently? I have just had to replace my old pc and I have no idea of what is on this new one or how to find it. Please help - I had to use Turbo lister yesterday as I could not list anything on Auctiva. Jan
