Hi Community,

We recently started receiving a number of reports from customers indicating they cannot upload or view their Auctiva hosted images and we have found this is occurring due to a system problem on the end of our image hosting provider, Amazon S3. This problem could cause errors when trying to do just about anything related to images within Auctiva as well.

We have brought this issue to their attention and they have acknowledged the problem on the following status board they have been maintaining: http://status.aws.amazon.com/. The specific issue posted about there that is related to this situation is the one described as "Amazon Simple Storage Service (US Standard)/ Elevated error rates).

We have not been given an estimate of when this issue will be resolved, but Amazon will be posting further updates on the issue to that thread as additional information becomes available. We will also post any news we get on the matter to this thread.

We apologize for any inconveniences this issue is causing.

Hi Community,

Amazon S3 just posted an update to their status board indicating that the error rates they are seeing are back to normal and we expect that these problems should no longer occur from this point on. They are continuing to monitor the situation for the time being in case the problem reoccurs though.

I will continue to keep this thread updated if I become aware of any remaining problems with respect to this situation. Thanks for bearing with us.

-Mike
