I am a newbie to Auctiva, AND this is the first time I've attempted to use a reserve price on a listing. After I enter the reserve price and all other info, I then attempt to schedule it. But it comes back, stating that I need to put in a start price. But the start price is only for regular auctions, isn't it? Not reserve? I did put in the price of the reserve in the start price also but when I previewed the listing it has it as the start price & a reserve auction...grrr--defeats the purpose. Can ANYONE PLEASE help me....?!???

You still need a start price...it HAS to be a regular auction because you can't use a reserve on a Buy it Now..I just did a listing with a reserve and was able to schedule it w/ no problem. My start price is .99 and my reserve is $50.
You don't have to worry about a low start price because it won't sell unless someone bids up to the reserve. Good luck Smile
