My listings end up in Ebay with all different font sizes. When I preview them on Auctiva, they look fine, but then when they appear on EBay the font sizes are all over the place. I've just started re-using Auctiva recently and there have obviously been changes since I last used it.

I've tried the suggestions which Support have made about removing the html codes and saving, stating again etc, but some listings are fine and others are not. It means I'm having to check every one immediately after listing it, and then revising it on Ebay. Very time-consuming!

I want to post new listings tomorrow, but dread the thought because the whole process is just taking too long and Turbolister suddenly seems so much more attractive!!

Can anybody please help with suggestions, as I am really really stuck??

Hi,

The new description editor is an absolute stickler for code conforming to standards. Eek

A couple of tips that might help...

If you copy and paste text from Word or other source, make sure you use the Paste Tools on the toolbar (top row at left center). Word code isn't HTML standards compliant. The paste tools actually CONVERT the code with a very nice pop-up window to assist.

If you toggle the Description editor box to HTML and back to Standard, it will often shake-out any bad code. Do that before you Preview and/or Save the Listing.

Hi,

I'd need to see one before you make a fix at eBay for any possible suggestion on cause.

You could use the HTML export on the Saved Listing and copy - paste the HTML to www.practicewriter.com for one that produced a problem. Make sure you "comment" on what's wrong with fonts on any post with a practicewriter posted link.

That will get me and the Auctiva folks "looking". Big Grin

Edit: Are you consistently using the same Auctiva template, or different ones? And, are the problems assoicated with use of a specific template?
