I am a bit frustrated with the navigation here, but I'm starting to get it. But yesterday, I worked hard on profiles (details, shipping) and saved them, and they are now *gone*. It's not that I can't find them. It's that when I go to manage profiles, the only one available besides my listings themselves is the marketing profile. The others are just not there. I know what I titled them, and they aren't there.

Does this stuff happen to anyone else? I've been trying for two weeks to convince myself that it's safe to use Auctiva, but it's still hard to accomplish.

Also: Is there any way to back up our stuff offline in case something happens to Auctiva and we need to have our records?

Well, it may be a problem with navigation after all. I just discovered that if I go to "seller details" it's all there. Why on earth is stuff so often located in more than one place?

So now I don't have it under profiles, but I do have it under seller details. Does that mean I don't *need* the profiles?

And now I have to recreate all that information for the store, right?

When I see these structural problems, I have to wonder if this site is being run by too small a team, and whether it's going to crash and burn at some point, taking all our data with it.

Sorry for seeming so negative. I don't mean to be. Once I get this figured out, I'll be more helpful than b**chy, I promise.

See, this is what I'm talking about. I click on the green tab called "profiles." Then I click on the tab that says "Seller Details" and they are BLANK. But oh, I remember that auctiva is very weird, so I decide to try something new.

I go back to the green tab that says "profiles" and then instead of clicking the green "seller details" tab, I go down on the page and click "Manage Seller Details." Ahhhh... When I do this they are there again.

Surely it can't be just me? I haven't seen anybody else talk about this on the forum, but I can't figure out why?! I feel like I'm in the twilight zone every time I come here!

So a Seller Details profile is not quite the same as the rest of our profiles because you must be using a template on your listing to show Seller Details. The option to add your Seller Details profile to your listing becomes available (to the right of the template) once you pick a template for your listing, otherwise the option is greyed out.

You can create your Seller Details and add it to a Master profile as long as you use a template on your Master profile. Keep in mind that Master will then have the template you are using in the Master each time you use that profile. You can choose another template after you load the Master without disturbing the rest of the information.

The Seller Detail link in the secondary navigation on the Profiles tab is for creating new seller details profiles. You said you found where to manage the Seller Details profiles you have already created.
