Hi, It would be really great if the editors would write an article informing online sellers how to protect themselves against Chargebacks. I am an online seller and I use PayPal to process transactions. I have now been stung twice with customers ordering a product from my website and then filing a chargeback with their credit card company weeks later claiming an "unauthorized transaction". You end up losing your product, and the customer gets refunded their money, and that is even after you have given proof of delivery of the goods.
From my research it looks like online sellers just have to put up with this issue, and factor such loses into their business plan...
I find it quite unacceptable as there really is no protections for the seller. I think this is going to become more of a frequent occurrence when more buyers cotton on to this loophole.
I would love to hear how other sellers have dealt with this issue.
