Hi Wheeler65,

It is not currently possible to associate listings that are already active on eBay with the consignors you have created within your Auctiva account, however, we will most likely be adding such an option with a future update of the Auctiva website. With our current system, the only way to associate an eBay listing with a consignor is to check the "Is this a Consignment Item?" box on the Auctiva lister page during the posting process.

Any additional questions or concerns? Please feel free to contact our customer support team using the appropriate link on our help page: http://www.auctiva.com/free-auction-software-help/help.aspx

Darn... did it again sent a listing to ebay thru Auctiva it was suppose to be a consignment. Hopefully something can be done for idiots like me. I was wondering if... when you click to save, schedule or post your item it would prompt you "is this a consignment?" yes or no. This set up would only ask those who have set up consignment plan not those who are not using it. With that maybe there wouldn't be much need for putting an existing listing on consignment. Thanks, just a thought!!!

Hi soldbyjana,

No, unfortunately, we still do not have anything in place to allow users to add to associate existing listings to consignors. This is still on our list of things we may add with future site updates, but a definitive decision has not been made as to if or when that will happen.

the dumb question with no obvious answer:
Do I HAFTA be a TA on ebay to use Auctiva's consignment program to sell odds and end for a friend?

I'm also wondering if and when this feature will be available? It would be a helpful option for after-the-fact posts.
Hi SellJunkInYourTrunk,

Thanks for checking back in with us on this. While the ability to add existing listings to consignment items is still on our list of potential enhancements to consider when planning future site updates, we still do not have any definitive plans to add this option to our suite of consignment tools.

Therefore, the only way to associate listings with consignment items is to post them through Auctiva and link them with the desired consignment items during the listing process. As it stands now, I expect it to remain this way for the foreseeable future.

I'm sorry that I cannot offer you more encouraging news, but we appreciate you posting here to let us know this is something that you are interested in being able to do.

Hi frankbama41,

We still do not have any current plans to add functionality which would allow sellers to associate active listings to consignors after they have been posted, so I don't have any new information to share on the topic at this time. Thanks for taking the time to let us know you would like to see this added as well though!

This is a feature I would have loved to have had on MANY situations...I guess it is a difficult feature though. If the Consignment payout reports were working right it wouldn't be such a big deal, I could easily add one or two items onto the report (although these reports can not be sent to excel or other files, you CAN right click, copy and paste the info so that you can add a line or to...BUT now that report is not working right at all so ALL of the info has to be tracked separately to be sure it is accurate). Making the whole selling stuff for other people idea WAY more time consuming and less attractive.
