Hi,

I hope this question makes sense - I have a whole bunch of stuff to list, and I have "master' listings that I use (shoes, purses, etc). I want to write descriptions for everything and save them to list later. But, if I need to change something about the profile (let's say, I want to change the shipping qualifications on all my shoe listings, which is saved under a 'shipping' profile, which is saved as part of the 'shoe' profile that I originally saved it under). So, if I went in and changed the shoe 'shipping' profile under the 'shoe' profile, would that reflect on the listings that I have already saved? Would I be able to come back a month later and list everything with the 'shipping' changes in effect? Or would I have to go back and change every single listing individually?

If not is there a way that I can write and save JUST the 'description' part of an auction? That way if I decide tat some other part of the auction needs changing at the time I list it, then I can do it then?

Gosh I really hope that makes sense to everyone! Please ask if it doesn't so I can clarify ...

TIA!

I believe you might be able to change your profiles and have those changes reflected on your saved listings.

As a test, I went to one of my saved listings that I am getting ready to post on eBay today. I had a profile selected that reflected the correct shipping charges for that particular item. Then I went to my Profiles tab and went to the Manage>seller details profiles and edited the same profile that I was using for the test listing. When I went back and opened the saved listing again, the new changes were showing up.

I don't know if that's exactly what you were asking about, but I do know that you can at the very least change your seller detail profiles for your saved listings.

Smile Good luck!

That's right, but seller details are not the same as your regular listing profiles.
