Hi Smile

I started using Auctiva about 2 months ago, and all in all it works fine, a few bumps here and there.

In the last week though I have noticed issues that are seriously making me want to throw my laptop out the window.

I usually make my listings, the go back and add my images. When I save the listings, well about every other time it times out. Once that happens I hit the back and then have to repeat the category as well as item specifics (because it resets to the last item's specifics) also it comes back in html form, which then you have to change back to standard and delete the extra html code that is showing even in standard.

I could deal with this if it happened only so often, though it happens often every other listing and sometimes two to three times on the same listing, I cannot tell you how frustrating this is.

I use fire fox, Vista and my laptop is new, I have no other issues with other programs ect..

I also thought if I upgraded to a premium account this would help and I was wrong, it is just as horrid.

I like this program and the simplicity of using it, though the insanity of the time outs is a bit to much...

anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem is for me and why this would be happening, anyone have the same issues or similar or any suggestions or tricks how to fix it?

any help would be greatly appreciatedSmile Thanks!

Hi!
Sorry to hear about the trouble you are having when you upload images.

I checked your image folder, and one thing I did notice that may be causing your sessions to time out is the size of the images you are trying to upload. While a majority of your images are under 100KB, many are over 350KB--mostly the close-ups. Try resizing them a bit before uploading them.

You may also experience time-outs when trying to upload too many large photos at one time--if you are going to upload several "large" images, it would work better if you uploaded them in smaller batches.

I always upload my images first, so that when I am creating a listing all I have to do is select the images that are already uploaded. That way I won't have to worry about losing my work if the image uploader doesn't work.

I hope this information helps. If not, please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Support

Good luck!
