I've been using auctiva just for a couple of days now- just curious- is there any web counter on the store- or any way to find out how many people have visited.

No there isn't.
We keep some stats but haven't put up a page to show them yet to you. We will include those in a future release.
We even keep track of who clicked links in your store and then purchased an item. That only works if you use our checkout though and I don't think we offer checkout in the UK right now.
We make it very easy to purchase your own domain name and hook it to your Auctiva store. You should look into purchasing your name .com and .co.uk from our store tab. You can then use that domain name in your emails to your buyers and on your eBay ME page to start building a following of buyers for your items.

I've paid for my shop url, so how come I can't change some of the html? Like to add a counter. There definitely should be something in place to at least see the hits to our stores.
