Hi,

The "extra photos" on the question is a caveat to a Yes answer. Yes, you can relist from Auctiva and get the credit. However, in order to make major changes to the listing (like adding photos, new template, text, etc.), you need to use eBay's revise listing editor for the relist. You can update a Saved Listing at Auctiva or Import the closed listing from eBay and do the updates. Then use the <HTML> export feature on the Saved Listings page to copy and paste the new code to the description section in eBay's Revise listing editor. I use to do that all the time to punch-up a relist or make major changes to the format. Take care went you delete the old code at eBay before the paste, not to remove your Scrolling Gallery code.

Thanks for your reply, Danno. For my questions - both my original and this one - I'm assuming that I'm not going to make any changes to my listing.

If I understand you correctly, I can relist through Auctiva and get relist credit & not have to pay for my extra photos.

Can I relist through eBay and not have to pay for the extra photos also?

Thanks!
Hi,

Yes to both questions.

Relist from Auctiva on the Close Listings page, i.e. select the close listing and relist with any of the limited changes you can do from that page. If your original listing had 24 (as example) photos from Auctiva, those photos are still free.

Relist from eBay with extensive changes that you can't do from Auctiva's relist, using that export HTML method for code change. That method uses Auctiva services to place photos in the description code with no fees for hosting (doesn't count against the one free photo at eBay). The only photo that shows hosted at eBay is that one free header - gallery photo.
