Hi,

If I understand the question, no, the images you store at Auctiva aren't actually hosted in two places.

If you relist, any links to stored images at Auctiva should continue to operate unless you delete the images stored at Auctiva. Note, a relist from eBay isn't tracked for image use by Auctiva, so don't use the Deletion Wizard or the images will potentially get flagged for deletion.

The only way to get rid of the images themselves is the deletion wizard, correct? If i delete closed listings themselves the image stays until i delete it? That is really what i meant. And I know that images relisted thru any other means are not tracked by acutiva. I just didn't want to delete the listings and delete the images too. And i thank you Danno. I see you help so many people.

You can also delete them from the Manage Images page (select image(s) and Delete button). There is also a new feature I haven't tried that allows you to designate images for auto-deletion during upload by number of days (to retain after upload if I understand the drop-down menu).

Deleting a Closed Listing doesn't delete the images, just that "track record" in the Auctiva system for the Closed Listing. I think I recall they were working on a tie-in so you could, but don't see it on the page. Deleting the "record" really doesn't do much, except housekeeping if you just want it out of sight. Similarly, deleting a Saved Listing won't delete the images.

And, you're welcome.

Danno
