I notice that the eBay Sell My Item form allows 3000 characters for Return Policy and 500 for Payment Instructions, while Auctiva allows 500 and "not specified", respectively. Why the descrepancy? Or did I miss something? Also, do I remember correctly that eBay doesn't allow HTML in these areas?

I admit I haven't cleaned my bifocals in a long time.

That would be okay. I probably would. However, see my second post: In my first post I was confused because of the inaccurate info on eBay's form, i.e. "3000 characters" for the "return policy". I couldn't figure out why Auctiva was cutting us off at only 500. Then, upon trying to enter a lengthy text in eBay's return section, I found that they actually cut me off at 500, irregardless of their claimed "3000". Obviously, their problem, not yours.

Now back to my other question: eBay doesn't allow you to put any simple HTML in there, such as <br>, etc. do they? It's been so long since I put anything in those standard eBay shipping & payment instruction boxes, I can't remember for sure
