Relist an item in closed listings folder...

Hi Everyone,

I need help with a couple of questions. 1st, I want to list a Halloween costume that didn't sell last year - it's in my closed listings folder. How do I transfer it back in to my saved listings folder so I can open it, possibly make changes, THEN schedule to list. (I noticed at the bottom of the closed items folder there is a "relist" button to click on but haven't tried it...)

2nd, I have another costume in the closed folder that sold last year (thus has the view trans link on the right) HOWEVER, the Buyer backed out and the trans never completed. I want to relist this one also. Will I be able to retrieve the old listing even tho Auctiva thinks I sold it? And if so, how?

I really don't want to start completely over if I can indeed work with these old listings in my closed folder.

That's a tough one...I tried myself to edit items in the Closed folder, but the only thing you can really edit is the title, start price, duration, etc....nothing with the description, shipping details, etc. I ended up just relisting them and then went onto ebay and did my editing there.

In your closed listings folder you should see an "import listings" button at the bottom of the page, next to the "relist" button. Click on this after checking the box next to the item you want to revise and it will send it to your saved listings, where you can edit whatever you want, as it takes you to the original listing page.

I'm having the exact same problem - a Halloween listing from 2007 that closed....

But, it won't import - will the option to import a closed listing become unavailable after a certain period of time?

Closed listings will only import for 90 days (the same amount of time that eBay will show a closed listing.) If you have listings that you think you may use again, be sure to import before that 90 day deadline.
