Hi ddcnga,

Yes, you can "relist" items through Auctiva in such a manner that you will qualify for a listing fee reimbursement if the item sells the second time around. In order to "relist" an unsold item in this manner, you just need to check the box next to the item on the Closed Listings page within your Auctiva account and click the blue "Relist" button.

Thank you for responding so quickly, however I don't think I asked everything I wanted to say. What if I want to change the wording, template, and pictures from the first time I listed when I relist? How do I do that? My wording needs to be changed in the relisting as well as the pictures. I have read posts from others who tried to use "edit" and it did not work properly.

Thank you.

I think you will find that if you go through the relist process certain rules apply and you can only edit certain items. I have always worked on the basis that if you want to qualify for the relist credit you have to use the relist process and only change what that process allows you to.

Not quite the approach you were looking for perhaps but it works much smoother if you go with the flow!

Regards.
Hi ddcnga,

Thanks for following the clarification. When you are relisting an item through Auctiva, the only aspects of that listing you can change during the relisting process are the title, quantity, start price, "Buy it Now" price, reserve price, and duration. Therefore, when you are looking to change the description of an item you are relisting, you would need to relist the item as is and then revise the description of the listing using eBay's "Revise your Item" form after the item has been relisted.

If you are just looking to change some of the text in your description, it is probably easiest to click the "Standard" tab on the description editor on eBay's "Revise your Item" form and make the changes with your cursor and keyboard. However, if you are looking to change the images and/or template, you would need to revise the item via the following process:

1) Locate your listing in your Saved Listings folder, make any necessary changes, and save.
2) Click the "<HTML> icon to the right of the item on your "Saved Listings" page
3) Select All and copy the html in the popup window.
4) Locate the item on eBay and click the "Revise Item" button.
5) Scroll down to the "Description" section and then click the "HTML" tab above the description editor.
6) Delete the existing description HTML, paste the copied HTML in its place, and save your changes.
