I am back onto the ebay scene after having an extended health related vacation. I am trying to relist some store items that were previously unsold. Thanks to this forum, I wa able to find the pull down to find all old listings (small panic when I thought they had all vanished), but when I tried to relist last night, they never posted to ebay. Today I looked at my scheduled page and they all show in Red "Not Listed - API Error" When I click on the error link to see what is wrong, it says "Item Number xxxxxxx is invalid, no longer in our database or an Live auction item" I can still see the photo of the item, but no longer valid? PLEASE dont tell me that I am going to have to retype in 50 store listings - PLEASE!!! They have to still be somewhere - any ideas?

thanks, bigredbrad

Hi,

If they are past 90 days, the old listings may no longer be retained at eBay for relist. I know from past experience, that's about the duration they are retained after ending.

Have you checked from your eBay account by listing number to see if they still show in the eBay system? If they are there, you might try a relist directly on eBay.

HI Danno - THat seems to be the problem that ebay no longer has them in their system. I was under the understanding that they were stored with auctiva, not ebay. That was of the reasons that I started with auctiva to reuse and recycle the same ads over again. I really hope these 50 listings that I can see have gone into cyberspace

Hi!
I just checked the error messages you received, and one possible reason they didn't relist is because the Closed listings you were trying to relist were too "old"-- Listings cannot be relisted from our Closed Listings page that are over 90 days old on eBay. You can create a similar listing from the Saved listing you have for the item, which should save you a lot of time.

Hope that helps!
