Hi, I have a few hundred of the same item. I sell them as single one penny auctions. They sell for low cost and at high volume. Basically, I want to be able to set a schedule for listing these auctions with each item having different scheduling rules. I want to be able to list a single auction every 4 hours 200 times. (That would take 33 days to finish). And perhaps I have another listing, I want to list every 5.5 hours 148 times. I have around 30 items, I'd like to set up these rules individually for each item I have, and then I'm set for a month or so while those counts count down to 0.

I see that the focus with auctiva is relisting things after they end. How can I do what I want with auctiva? Thanks!

Hi rucachick,

Thanks for contributing to our forum. Unfortunately we do not currently offer any functionality that would allow you to schedule a single saved listing to post at multiple different times as you have described, but other users made similar suggestions in the past and this is on our list of things to consider when planning future site enhancements.

In order schedule your listings to post as you mentioned in the examples you provided through Auctiva, you would need to schedule each post of each item manually which, of course, would require stepping through the scheduling process hundreds of times.

On the other hand, if you were open to posting any of your products with 2 hours or less between each post, you could use the “Copy Ad” button on your Saved Listings page to create the desired number of saved listings for the product you are listing and then schedule them to post in bulk with our Post Incrementally option.

If you select more than one item on your Saved Listings page and click the “Schedule” button, you will find the Post Incrementally option on the ensuing page, which will allow you to stagger the post times of the selected items by up to 2 hours.

I understand we do not offer a very effective way to accomplish what you are looking to do at present, but I hope this information helps you determine how best to proceed. If you need any further assistance with your account, please feel free to contact our Customer Support team by mousing over the “Help” tab within your account and selecting the “File Support Case” option.
