Relisting Purses Under ebay new Specifics - anyone having problem?

There were a few issues day before yesterday as well. In women's clothing, in particular we were getting only a "detail" box and none of the other attributes.

Ours are working today, so far.

However, UPDATE this was reported on July 2nd and still has not been fixed. You can't list purses with multiple variations and put in correct colors. Correct colors are necessary in order to show up properly in ebay searches. Plus ebay requires that box be filled in with something. It is a waste of time to put in one color and shade when it is not applicable plus effects search results in ebay not counting MY time to track ones that I need to go back on and then the time it costs me to re-do what has already been re-done.

Ebay REQUIRES we have listing in compliance with their new policies. I have listings ending and am attempting to fix them but without multiple variation shades working this is a problem.

Ebay says this is auctiva problem, auctiva says it is ebay issue??? I am in middle of this and find 14 days and no word back on it to be poor business.

I have filed customer support case and have been told they will contact me when additional information becomes available.

The jacket category I am just finding has been fixed, thanks auctiva for taking your time to let me know. Hate to sound rude, but was told I would be notified via support.

I now have a couple of cases that have been pending and can't get resolved. What in the world is going on???? Both of these requests are time consuming and the go arounds are temporary go arounds.

Thanks for input on when we can expect this to be fixed so we can comply with ebay policies?

Actually, color, and color shade are no longer "required" item specifics, per eBay's update. I seem to recall I was able to "remove" the shade specific on the Auctiva specifics box the last time I revised a handbag listing.

I don't use variation listings on handbags, so never attempted to remove "color" on variations.

I do not know why we would NOT want them even if ebay does not today require them, it helps in searches??? Plus, to me IF ebay offers it, then Auctiva should offer it. However, today they are not required but according to ebay they are going to start requiring it at some point (but they could be wrong). Plus, they have also said that if buyer puts in specifics for items they are looking for and that is not filled in the item will not show up in search.

Would be great to have option of being able to put in since ebay offers it auctiva should also. Plus, I really only want to fix listings once and would love to use this also. Anything that helps in searches helps business as far as I can tell.

well said lookandbuyme. successful internet selling means that the item comes up in as many searches as possible.

Can progress on the status of this update? Was told may be August 2nd. Is that still on???

I have purses in multi-colors I would LOVE to get listed so they can be seen and seen in searches.

Will send through support also, but would guess they are bogged down after weekend. Since Aug 2nd was mentioned figured we may know for sure?
