I'm still on the trial plan - though currently impressed enough that I think I will go to unlimited paid plan soon - but here is something I am stuck on. Perhaps someone can advise.

When I use the templates, the listings get pumped full of no less than 6 links back to Auctiva. I plan to try and be professional about this, so this is not a good look in my opinion. I've tried customizing templates to get rid of them, but that doesnt work - clearly they are added after the template is saved. I can edit the listing manually through Ebay and get rid of them, but that seems like a poor workaround - this service is all about automation and simplifying after all. It crossed my mind that they might be removable once I am a paid Auctiva member, but if not, this seems like maybe a dealbreaker to me.

Can anyone advise on this?

Just an afterthought to my post - it seems to me that postage for all my listings so far that use the calculator are higher than I would get from the post office. What is the general feeling about whether to use the calculator or whether to use manually calculated postage? And is there any diference in accuracy between USA and Australia (I expect most people here use Ebay.com - I'm in AU and use Ebay.com.au).
Hi Scapes,

Welcome to Auctiva! You are correct that the links promoting Auctiva's services are added at the time the listings are posted. We do not offer an option to exclude those links from your listings so the only way to remove them would be to revise your listings after posting them to eBay to remove the links as you mentioned you were able to do.

The shipping calculators for both eBay.com and eBay.com.au are supposed to provide exact shipping estimates based on the shipping services being offered and the attributes of the package that you enter. I’m not sure why the eBay.com.au shipping calculator would produce high estimates so you might want to touch base with eBay’s customer support group about that.

Thanks for the quick response.

I'll have to weigh up the pros and cons regarding the promotional links. Perhaps if you offered an affiliate program integrated to them it could make them more, shall we say, 'tolerable'.

Regarding the postage calculators, I'll wait and see - I'm currently waiting for Australia Post agents to get back to me regarding a business account which I understand offers substantial discounts etc, so manual postage rates could be necessary anyway for me. I have noticed that the majority of ebay listings I visit use manual postage rates of various kinds.
