How do i remove a photo from a listing that is active and has bids? I don't see a way. Thanks. Julie

Hi Julie,

If you have bids, you probably can't remove pictures located in the Description section, but you could replace the problem picture in the Auctiva image library with a correct picture. If you do it, I'd also Revise the listing at ebay making an add to the description stating the change made, e.g. I changed such and such picture due to error....that's just a suggestion, but could keep you out of later problems with bidders.

Well, I'm not sure it's his or for what reason other than i'm competition. I deleted the photo out of my library. Does it remain in the listing? I have other photos there of my item so I'm not too worried about what people see, because the remaining pictures are NOT stock and are mine and a fair representation. How do I replace after deleting the original photo out of auctiva? thanks, julie
Hi,

Your last reply is a little confusing, but there is an ebay policy against using another seller's photos. They can file a complaint with ebay and there are "actions" ebay can take for the infringement. You said...."not sure it's his or for what reason other than i'm competition", so I'm guessing that's the problem.

Deleting the photo from the image library "might" work. Delete actually sends it to a temporary hold area for a week. You might need to "View Deleted Images" and use "Remove Permanently" to fully remove the photo from Auctiva.

You'll probably have an error of some type in the listing in place of the missing photo.

Sorry for the confusion. I should have not deleted and replaced. He claims it was his, I have plenty of other photos but could not remove this one because of the bids. I have deleted it tho. I did talk to ebay because I felt bullied, they looked at the listing and said, it's fine and if it's an auctiva photo that I had no problem. Being the nice person I am, I removed it not to cause anyone any heart ache. Hopefully it will work, but I am not in any situation for removal, i just want this person off my back. He says people are confused by the stock photo. I don't see why, I have 5 other photos of my item...he has that ONE>...hmmmm. THANKS!
