Renaming Auctiva-hosted photos after ebay posting

Does anyone have knowledge on the following:

1. After ebay posting, will renaming an image being hosted by Auctiva, and linked to the posted auction, affect the link/display in ebay?

2. If an image is renamed in Auctiva, will that new name be the ALT name for the photo jpeg image when item posts in an Auctiva-created template to ebay, potentially increasing organic search engine (i.e. Google images) optimization when a shopper uses his or her browser and enters the keyword/image words?

I believe that changing the names of images in active listings will result in red Xs since an image by the old name won't be found any longer.

As for the alt text if you're talking about what happens when you create a new listing, then yes, the alt text defaults to the image name. But you can also change it to whatever you want in the uploader (well, the HTML uploader anyway).
