I'm having trouble revising a listing. I go into my eBay item, hit the revise button, go down to the description, click on edit, but it won't let me change the "wording". The information does not appear in the standard box where the html and standard tabs are but above it in my templete, just as I entered it in Auctiva. Do I have to end the listing, go into Auctiva, change my description and relist? Thanks!

Hi!
It looks like that since you have already sold several of these items, you cannot revise the description (similar to if you try to revise a listing that already has bids.) You can add to it, just not change what is already there. You will probably have to end the listing and post it again in order to make those changes.
I came down with a similar problem today - Ebay won't REVISE listings if they see an Auctiva notice or gallery on the page. They tell you it must be done in Auctiva.

Unfortunately, I didn't use Auctiva for this latest listing. I used HTML in Ebay's own Sell form. Auctiva apparently took over the listing when I hosted some photos for the listing here. I cannot find the listing in Auctiva so -- I can't revise my Return policy text here.

This is a nightmare. I've wasted a week on this problem. I look disorganized and the listing has done nothing since it kept dropping to the bottom of the search list every time I tried to Revise. Ebay even gives a "Successful revision" notice - which is a big fat lie. If you go to Live Help, they tell you they cannot revise it, Auctiva must.

The better option would have been to be warned by Auctiva that it would insert itself INTO the listing if I ever used their photo hosting.
