I am new to the forum and Auctiva so please excuse my ignorance of the Auctiva product.

I would like to know how to set up a re-list profile where an item starts out on auction format, relists 3 times, and then on the last time re-lists to fixed format GTC.

Anyone doing this out there? If so, what is the best practice?

Thanks,
Robert

Hi Robert,

Thanks for contributing to our forum. While we do offer any Auto Relist feature on our site, it is not currently capable of automating the exact relisting plan you have described here. If you would like to check out the Auto Relist options we do have available, just mouse over the "Profiles" tab within your account and select the "Create New" option under "Auto-Relisting".

If you uncheck the boxes in the "When I Auto-Relist" and "Recurrence: When to Start And Stop Auto-Relisting" that are checked by default, you will be able to see all of the advanced changes and recurrence options that can be incorporated into an automatic relist plan.

As it stands now, you could potentially set up an Auto Relist profile that would relist your auction format listings 3 times, but you would not be able to configure our system to automatically repost the item as a fixed price, Good til Canceled listing after that so you would have to carry out that last step manually.

In the even that you create an Auto Relist Profile you would like to use, you can apply that Auto Relist profile to listings you post through Auctiva thereafter by selecting it from the "Auto-Relist Profile" drop down menu that is located just to the right of the pricing fields on the Auctiva lister page.

I hope this helps. If you need any further assistance with your account, please feel free to contact our customer support team by mousing over the "Help" tab within your account and selecting the "File Support Case" option.

There are a lot of ways to set up your auto relisting, and it can save a lot of time. You just have to be careful to make sure it's setup with the correct inventory, and to stop relisting when it runs out. I've accidentally relisted things that I was sold out of, because I didn't pay attention to the relist profile I was using for that particular item. It's been quite a time saver though!
