I'm brand new to Auctiva, so apologies for the novice questions.

I was looking for a system that would allow me to keep a complete history of ebay listings so that I could re-post items if I came across them again (I sell books and often come across the same title several months, or even years, later). Do "closed" listings disappear after a while? If so, it would seem my only solution would be to make "saved" listings for each item I sell. That would be tedious.

Is there a way to "upload" data into an Auctiva listing? If so, I could save all my data on my local machine and then manage the re-posting locally.

Lastly, and more technically, does Auctiva allow only one level of folders? With a lot of listings (and images) it would be much better for me to have two or three levels of folders.

Thanks for any help you can give.

I'm not sure you can do this in Auctiva unless the saved listings are saved forever. Just in case, this is what I do. I always type my ads in Word, save them by Inventory # and Description and then copy and paste into Auctiva. Word also gives you a lot more functionality with fonts, size, etc. to jazz up your listing. Then, if I have the same item come up again, I already have an ad to copy and paste into Auctiva. Also, just in case you would ever leave Auctiva for another auction management vendor, you won't lose all your previous ads. (Of course, I can't imagine ever leaving Auctiva, but you never know!) Hope this helps!
