I made three listings a few days ago and set them to schedule to post at 9:15 pm, they were definitely saved as scheduled and the time and date I'm sure was right.

I checked-in around 10pm and they had not started so I did them manually.

Any Idea why they didn't work? what should I check next time? I'm confused.

Mark.

Hi, any scheduled listings will have an asterisk against them in your saved listings folder.

Events should have been flagged regarding success or failure to post, mind you a week ago I had 20 successfull scheduled posts but no events were flagged at all, possibly because I was running late and scheduled them only about an hour ahead.

The only way to be sure an item has reached eBay is to see it in the active listings display, one cannot rely on eBay's successful posting mail. I have had some reported twice and some not at all but when I checked for active they they were 1 of each as intended.

Unfortunately eBay rarely gives refunds for accidental posts once you have been a member for more than 30 days.

It is also possible to drop out of the scheduling tool without committing. But if was correct and your timezones were set up correctly it may be worth filing a support request.
Thanks for that, I have some more listings I may put on during the week to test I'm doing it right, I don't recall seeing anything indicating failed listing or suchlike but they were blocked in red, though I recall selecting a colour for them at some point manually... I have an awful memory which doesn't help. they're gone from the scheduled 'folder'(?) since I listed them manually, glad to see that worked fine. Will see what happens with one of the new listings.
Hi, my memory isn't that good at times either Red Face

If they were in the scheduled folder then they must have been scheduled so pehaps the date was wrong I had that trouble as I am in the UK and the date format stays US i.e. month/day/year rather than day/month/year and during the summer months it is easy to forget whether e.g. 7/8/7 is July or August !

The red was probably the colour you selected for the folder in which you saved the listings. Smile
