I am trying to list an electronic item and it has not posted for the second day!

1) it is very irritating Auctiva does not detect issue on "Error check" prior to saving list.

2) Auctiva does not notify the user that listing did not post!

3) Apparently there is no indication on account dashboard (or anywhere else) that listing was not posted - much less the reason why.

I think this has to do with the eBay catalog requirement, that I believe I corrected on the second try.

Auctiva has been around for a while - it used to be free to use. Since they started charging they should have corrected issues like these.

Thank you.

Hi franasia,

Thanks for contributing to our forum. Although our Error Check tool is designed to make sure all the required fields for your listings are filled in, there are a variety of reasons that eBay may not accept a listing which we are unable to check for.

Since the listing you are referring to passed the Error Check but was not successfully submitted to eBay, I suspect eBay most likely blocked the posting attempt. Assuming that is the case, you should be able to see the error that was returned by clicking the red number in the Notifications area along the top of any page within your account.

If you are unable to determine how to proceed after reviewing the error details on your Notifications page, please contact our Customer Support team by mousing over the “Help” tab and selecting the “File Support Case” option and we will be happy to continue working with you on this.
