I usually keep mine at PST (left-coast USA) which is synced to the ebay.com time. I tried setting my account to GMT (London), and sure enought got "WEST" (Western European Standard Time). I next switched to the GMT+1 zone (Rome) and got "CEST" for the Central zone.
Wow I just logged into post on this topic!! I am in Australia and my timezone is either UDC/GMT or EDT depending on what timezone coding you use. The Auctiva clock is NEVER right for me and I am so not great at timezone analyses. Hence I get frustrated with things like Scheduling and the Friday evening scheduled maintenance. I can never work out what time it will be. Cheers Marian.
Here's a link that you'll appreciate. It's offical "eBay Time", i.e. their location clock time for their service. It's located at the very bottom of the .au ebay site for you.
Note, it has both the .au and the .com current times. Auctiva is in the US Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT) with eBay.com, so checking that clock will keep you synced with them.
Cheers Danno, That's a very handy hint and much appreciated. Now I see that Ebay Official Time and Auctiva Official Time are like about 5mins different and way behind us (I am posting this at 11am 4 April). Now if only Auctiva could be switched to Aussie time..... maybe it would recognise our daylight savings etc etc.
