scrolling Auctiva store window

Hi thevintageseekers,

The reason you are unable to see your store window images is because we have temporarily disabled store window images as to not interfere with the loading of auction images.

We're currently having to do this during peak hours on our site but we hope to have the problem resolved shortly...such that disabling store window images is no longer a necessity.

As I'm sure you're all aware, we have experienced technical difficulties this week with the loading of auction images. To ensure that all auction images load successfully, we have disabled 50% of store window images...meaning that 50% of the people who view your listings will see images in your store window.

We appreciate your patience with regard to this matter.

Are there any future plans to go to 100% and if so when?

Do we have future plans to go 100%? - Yes

Do we know when? - No...but it will be as soon as we are confident we can do so without interfering with the loading of auction images.

Great ... just wanted to get something here so when others view this thread and wonder what I just asked so this way this thread won't get bombed with a lot of replies.

Speaking of 50% ... that is all the time except during peak hours when it is none, correct?

Nah...we're currently hoping to keep it at 50% during peak hours as well.

There have been 2 days this week when we've had to disable it completely because all hosted images went down but we hope not to have to do that again.

Peak hours on our site are typically 10:30am-7:15pm GMT -8, Pacific time...but, as I said, we hope noe to have to disable the store window entirely again.

I'm Central Time but surprised to see it that long as I was thinking more on the line of 6 pm to 10 pm ... oh well ... just have to deal with it

i am a little confused as to if my problem is the same as the one being discussed here. I use the Auctiva store window on my listings but I have it set up for me to manually put the html code in my listings. Lately, no gallery images show up no matter what time it is. Is this the same problem being discussed here?
