Scrolling Gallery

Hi if you are posting as soon as you have written the listing you could turn off the scrolling gallery option in your account settings.

I would possibly post a few minutes after changing the setting to ensure it has taken affect, if you post with the scrolling gallery enabled another option is to use the hide feature in your scrolling gallery setup so it does not show up.

This could be the easiest option assuming any short inclusion of this item in your SG can be tolerated.

Thank you, I tried turning it off in my account and I got a warning if I did I could be charged byby Auctiva for my listing.
So, I guess I will have to do the hide feature.
I still cannot understand how to do that.
If you could tell me how, I would appreciate it.

Hi, at present you do not get charged for turning off the SG, counters, battlebids or any other of the bells and whistles this warning message may come up on within the free Auctiva site.

Auctiva makes it's money from various other related sources, features like the SG and Sellathon counters help advertise the Auctiva site and tools. If no one used them at all then sometime they may need to start charging everyone but at present you can turn off what you do not need or want.

At present I prefer to keep the SG enabled as it is a very useful feature if placed appropriately in your listing and just hide items as necessary e.g. to bias the SG to a specific group of items you have for sale.
