I used a template from ebsq because my computer froze twice trying to create one in Auctiva. Now that listing doesn't have the scrolling bar like ALL the other listings, Auctiva or not. What happened? Does the scrolling bar only show when template used from Auctiva? I couln't save a darn thing when I finished creating my listing - TWICE. I gave up. This is my second listing with Auctiva and I am not impressed at this point.

I am tempted to despair at how many people start to use Auctiva, blame it like mad and then drop it as though it is dreadful after only a short play.

Most problems seem to be user impatience, (Auctiva support would not say that but I can because I am a very satisfied independent user Cool).

Freezing to me is often due to slow PC, poor ISP performance, personal firewalls, eBay busy times, e.g. Sunday nights or you hit the Auctiva Thursday night Friday morning maintenance period. These aspects need to be examined.

Please enlighten me, what or who is ebsq ?
I understand what you are saying. I have Comcast and IE. I don't have problems anywhere else even when learning new s/w. I worked on many programs in the corporate world since 1981. So while not a techie I am able to find my way around things. I created my own website twice.

EBSQ (don't really know what the initials stand for) is a group of self-representing artists, and I love it, it has everything. Including a template for listing that is so easy to use. I was using ebay's until I discovered them. This is the first time I have had a problem listing.

Yes, I read and watched the tutorials. My computer never froze on those other two sites. It froze this morning, which is Monday so shouldn't be the maintenance. I am frustrated, not saying Auctiva is no good, just not as user friendly as the others. I love the templates.

But, for example, when creating shipping and checking out, there is no box to put text in. I have to put it in the description, which is not a problem just an inconvenience.

I had a problem with my page being too wide in the first listing and support couldn't help me with it. I went back in saved listing, and found that by reformatting the template it was fine, but I can't revise it on ebay, no html tag on listing. Using the EBSQ templates same thing, also cant be revised on ebay. Oh well I am not giving up, just wanted to know why if I use another template that the scrolling bar doesn't appear, even though I uploaded my info into Auctiva. Thanks for responsing....Heather
