Hi

I joined Auctiva yesterday and spent hours learning how to upload! Great fun. I particularly wanted to have the scrolling feature. I uploaded all my new listings etc and when I looked last thing, everything was working fine - scrolling photos in place on all my listings.

This morning, despite checking back many times, I see that the scrolling feature is disabled in every listing. Where it says: Check Out my Other Auctions, it says "No items available".... which of course is definitely not the message I want to send to prospective customers!

Any ideas? Is it because of the upgrade on Auctiva? By my reckoning, things should have been back to normal by 6am GMT.

Thanks in advance Smile

Thanks for that. One other thing - someone has told me that my listings are showing with HTML beneath each line of normal text... although when I look everything looks fine.

Would that be part of the maintenance 'bug' or have a got a whole lot of work ahead of me to find out how to correct it? But how can I correct it if everything looks fine to me? Frown
SmileHi

Yes, here's the link to one of the items I prepared and uploaded via Auctiva yesterday:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=012&...0132423202&rd=1&rd=1

I have cleared my internet history to see if I can see the HTML code within my listings, but it looks fine to me! Another seller on ebay's forum gave me cut & paste of my listing and this had a line of HTML beneath line of my text

Hmm! If I can't see the HTML, how am I to rectify it? Doh!

The scrolling pictures are working fine now, so it's just the HTML problem.
Hi I have seen that HTML text come up in another posting, it suggests corruption in the listing as this is code that should have been 'executed' and not displayed.

In other words it is not this text that is at fault but probably what precedes it.

See also the posting "wierd lettering in listing" on the 'Listing' board no solutions have been suggested there so I would suggest you file a support request Smile
I thought I'd come back & tell you that I got the HTML text problem sorted via the techie guys! What happened was that I copied & pasted over my text directly from Word. Instead of using the special 'paste' button provided in the description/details window of my listings, I just clicked on the paste option from edit. I am just going to post the reply I got somewhere where other's might see it - hopefully it will help someone else.

Many thanks for your help.

Lou
