I have been searching fruitlessly for an old listing in my "saved listings" page. I finally realized that when I when I put in "mens brown boots" I only get a result if, in the title, those words HAPPEN to occur in exactly that order.
If the title said "mens size 10 brown boots" that would not show up in results!!!
It amazes me that you could consider that a search box -- at least warn people never to get too specific. I see no way to adjust parameters or do an advanced search. I have never seen a search box on any site that requires you to list terms in the exact order, without allowing you to turn that requirement off.
So instead now, I have to search for ALL boots because I don't know exactly what order the title used. Then I have to scroll through all the results to try to find the one I want.
Did I miss something? Please tell me there is any easier way...

Hi OpportunityDoc,

Thanks for contributing to our forum. The Search feature on the Saved Listings page is designed to search for the complete string of terms which have been entered, so it is expected that a search for multiple words will only return listings with titles that contain the entire group of words (uninterrupted and in order) as they appear in the Search field.

I am not aware of any current plans to change how this feature works, but I have made note of your comments in this regard and we will take them into consideration when planning future updates to our site.

We appreciate the feedback. If you need any further assistance with your account, please feel free to contact our Customer Support team by mousing over the “Help” tab and selecting the “File Support Case” option.
