Hi, I have image folders with images that go back as far as 5 years. Problem with deleting is some folders are for sold items and some are for not sold items that I may list again. It is very time-consuming to go thru the image folders and determine: 1)Sold-delete or 2)not sold-don't delete. Feel badly about taking up excess storage. Does anyone have a suggestion for making this process more efficient? Thanks

Hi BobHH,

Thanks for contributing to our forum.

I reviewed how your image folders are set up and noticed that you have started to enter notes on your Folders management page with some status related messages, such as whether the images are in listings which have sold or have been relisted, and I believe that may be the best approach to the work flow you have described.

We do not offer any other functionality which would allow you to easily identify whether the images in each folder are associated with listings in these specific states but, if you click the title of a given folder on your Folder Management page, the values in the “Listings” column next to each image may provide you with some helpful insight.

As you can see when you mouse over those values, the represent the number of detail profiles, saved listings and active/scheduled listings each image is being used in respectively.

Also, if you can more easily able to identify the products that you will not be listing again from your Saved Listings page, it might be better to delete the images in those products from there, along with the saved listings themselves.

For example, if you select one or more items on your Saved Listings page and click the “Delete” button, you will be presented with the option to “Delete associated images”. If you select that option before completing the deletion process, the images in the listing(s) will also be deleted from your account, although your image folders would not be impacted.

I hope this helps. If you need any more specific assistance with this, please feel free to contact our Customer Support team directly from under the “Help” tab on our site and we will be happy to continue working with you.
