Seller Details

Hi,

You can only select one Seller Detail Profile per listing. Each Seller Detail Profile you create can have Payment, Shipping, About US, Contact Us, and Terms of Sale sections that will automatically fill those sections on the template.

I have shipping, payment, and about us filled out on my seller detail profile. When I go to do a listing, the dropdown box gives me only 1 of these details at a time. Are you saying that if I click on just one of them, all three will post?
That didn't happen when I listed. Is there something else I have to do somewhere?

Hi,

When you created a Seller Details profile, you saved it with a specific Name. That Name should appear in the drop-down list for selection (directly right of the Template selection box). If you created more than one, they all should appear.

If you created more than one, was there a specific reason or need? A single profile can handle all the fill-ins for those sections, per prior post. You can make changes or deletions to created profiles from the Manage Seller Details page.

Sorry I'm so ignorant about this...first time using the template. You say a single profile can handle fill-ins for all sections. Do I not even have to select them then, since all 3 are there in the dropdown menu? If I don't click on 1 of them do all 3 automatically go in the listing?

I think I've figured out the problem. Did you create and save a separate Seller Details for each of the distinct sections, e.g.

one for Payment
one for Shipping
one for Terms of Sale

....and not a composite (single) Sellers Details with all the sections?

That method won't work and why you're having the selection problem on the one-page. You need to fill-in all the tabbed sections needed when you create a Seller Details and therefore select only one to get all on the one-page lister.

If you have other unique combinations of Seller Details language for some listing item, then you create a new Named Seller Details for that combination.

I'll try re-doing the details - if I remember right, I believe I did one at a time - payment, save - about us, save - and so on.
So I should have just went through all the tabs and then saved at the end, right?

That's correct. You got it. In essence, you're creating text for those sections that will be automatically inserted one-for-one with the same-name sections on the template used. Any tab/section left blank will not fill-in on the listing and in fact will remove that header, e.g. a blank About Us section/tab in your Sellers Details profile will cause that header to be removed from the built listing.

Hi,

You need to select one in the drop-down list. It won't automatically fill. You should see your Seller Details fill correctly with PREVIEW.

These are all excellent questions, and it's no problem at all.
