Seller Details Profile NOT in listings?

I am replying to my own post because I have implemented a "work-around".

I simply took the code in the various Seller Details forms and placed it all into my standard item profile.

I'd still be curious as to how the new Seller Details profile is supposed to work.

But at least I can keep listing...

Hi Ben,

The "Seller's Details" is used in conjunction with an Auctiva Template. After you have created the "Seller's Details," when creating a new listing, if you choose to use an Auctiva Template, and then choose your Seller's Details profile, all of your Seller's Details, such as payment, shipping, about me, contact, terms, etc. are placed into the Auctiva Template.

The "Seller's Details" are separate from the normal profiles which allow you to select commonly used item details, marketing, shipping methods, etc, without having to hand select them for each listing.

Hi! I can see that many of you are struggling with the sell details... me too!

When I click "seller Details" I get an entry screen. If I switch to the design editor it doesn't work.

Additionally, there is no heading to tell me which section I am entering such as payment or shipping.

Then if I click "next" nothing happens, the same text stays in the input box. If I click "save and Exit" I can get a Payment section, but otherwise nothing.

I would love to get this working, I have used similar tools in other programs and they are seriously magical in the time that they save.

Sounds to me like you are having big issues that need to be addressed. Could you take a couple of minutes and report this using our Support Request Page. Make sure to note the browser that you have been using when you have these problems.
