When I use the drop down feature on the sellers details during listing. I put what I had saved and then I need to change the color of the profiles for each listing. Since my templates are different.
But when I change color it affects my other listing? Do I need to create another profile? Or am I missing something. Does this make any sense?

Yep...makes sense to me

Since you are unable to make changes to the seller details text on the Auctiva lister page, if you would like to use seller details text of different colors to coordinate with different templates you would like to use, I recommend creating a separate seller details profile for each color you will be using.
