1. The first few words of my eBay descriptions are covered up. The only fix I can find is to put in 2 or 3 dummy "!!!!!!!!!!" lines. When I sent a message to Auctiva support, all they said was-"It looks OK in Firefox"

2. I changed the location of the Auctiva photo display to the bottom of the description, which worked for awhile, to fix the first problem, but now is back at the top again, even though the Auctiva site option is still set for bottom.

3. Are some of the Scrolling Gallery Options only available to paying users? When I select Auction Carosel all I get is the error message- "Your settings were not saved due to invalid input, please check your input and try again."

Thanx, Alan

Hi Alan,

Welcome. I see this is your 1st post and it sounds like you just recently joined (passed the token with eBay).

One of the 1st things Auctiva automatically does, is add the Scrolling Gallery to your active listings. That's essentially adding that codeset to active listings at the eBay site. You mentioned that Support said the listings with hidden/problem descriptions looked OK in Firefox, but you didn't say which browser you were using to view the problem. That might be an explanation, e.g. IE8 might not provide correct viewing at eBay without using its Site Compatibility toolbar feature. If you have an active listing with the problem, post the link or listing number in the Forum. That will help with members assisting to diagnose and advise on a problem.

There aren't any paid options on the Scrolling Gallery, or for just about anything else with the service. There is a bug for selecting the Scrolling Gallery that Auctiva just recently disclosed in the Forum, that produces that "Invalid Input" error.

The selection of the picture/images arrangement in a listing is done with the selection of a template in the one-page lister, but that's not a permanent change, i.e. it's only for that Saved Listing.
