I've used Auctiva for a year with no problems, however, now when I list my ebay combined shipping discount is not being applied to my listings. I updated my eBay shipping discounts under my Auctiva "My Account", and the box is checked in my template. When I look at the item in eBay the boxes for both shipping discounts are NOT checked... any thoughts?

Thanks for helping to bring this to our attention. We have actually received several reports of this nature over the last couple days but, in each case, we have verified that we have submitted the correct information to eBay along with the listings such that the shipping discounts should have been applied to them once posted.

There appears to be something amiss on the eBay end of things that is causing some of these shipping discount specifications to be dropped, so we opened up a support case with eBay's Developer Support team earlier today. I'll post again to this thread as soon as we hear back from them and have some additional information to share.

I have checked & rechecked all my preferences with eBay AND Auctiva..everything looks in order, but I keep getting this warning on my listings.

I'll look forward to a fix.

Update - We recently heard back on the support case we opened with eBay and they reported this problem has been resolved, however, we have continued to see reports of this nature affecting both combined shipping rules and promotional shipping rules. We are in the process of following up with eBay's Developer Support team regarding this issue and we hope to see a resolution soon.

I am noticing a problem when i list only one of an item in my store. It is charging full rate for all items listed and Auctiva shipping does not show the discount at all. When I list more than 1 of an item in my store, the discount shows properly and it is listed properly. I think this is an Auctiva bug and not an Ebay problem. Any one else noticed this or checked this out. I have looked at Auctiva listings as well as Ebay postings on many different items.
Not only me then! Loosing out on P&P charges on combined rule - ebay not charging for other items, only 1st item. This problem hasn't been resolved yet, only today had to manually work out shipping with combined rule before customer paid. Other customers have automatically paid what was asked over the last week before I realised there was a problem. All rules on accounts (ebay & auctiva)checked and in order at my end. Been relisting same items since May and haven't had this problem. Also I posted a report to ebay earlier today regarding problem. This problem only seems to have come in the last two weeks for me, therefore someone has updated something to trigger it!

Update - Even though the post on eBay's Developer's Forum I provided a link to above still reflects that this problem should have been resolved for US sites on 8/22/08, we have done some testing this morning and verified that the problem still has not been resolved.

I was able to get in touch with someone in eBay's customer support group and they verified that the fix for this issue has not been rolled out yet but that she expects it to be resolved later this evening. I'm going to test this functionality again tomorrow morning and hopefully I'll have some good news to post then.

Update - I just heard back from eBay with respect to this issue and am pleased to report that this issue should now be resolved. I just posted a few listings through our test account and verified that the shipping discount profiles I selected were applied to the resulting active listings, so hopefully you will all start see similar behavior as well.

Hi dutchman48,

The fix that eBay put in place won't have any effect on listings that have already been posted so, if you posted any auctions while this problem was ongoing and they do not reflect that your shipping discount is available, you would need to revise those using eBay's "Revise your Item" form to add the shipping discount.

Update - As it turns out, this problem was only partially fixed yesterday because, after I posted my last message, I heard back from my contact in eBay's affiliate department, and she reported that this issue should be fully resolved today at about 5 PM PT.

Please be advised that I have talked to Ebay today and the bug is still not fixed contrary to what they have told you. It also exists if people use turbo lister. Bulk editing also has a bug and the problem can not be fixed on existing listings unless you edit each listing individually. Ebay has said once the bug is fixed, you can close all the items, relist them, and get a credit for the new listing fees. You have to give Ebay the bug number which is BUGTK10051778. Phone Ebay first and then they will make a notation on your account. There is also no date yet for the bug fix. Any new listings with combined shipping will still have this problem. They are supposed to post the problem on the message boards but we will see if they do.
