"Shipping service cost exceeds £x.xx maximum allowed for selected category."

I tried to list a brand new smart phone the other day and get this API error:

"Shipping service cost exceeds £7.00 maximum allowed for selected category."

What is going on here?!
£7 shipping costs for a smart phone worth £400? How does Auctiva expect me to cover the cost of shipping if I want to send it via Royal Mail's Special Next Day delivery service whose base rate starts at £10.60?

Any ideas on how to get around it?

It's eBay's limit, not Auctiva's.

Edit: Suggestion.....

Please note, I'm not familar with Royal Mail, so take it as a generic method that appears to fit the eBay suggestion on that link.

Use a class of service for 1st choice method that qualifies under the limit, eg. Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded for £7.00 (or whatever is appropriate and fits at or below the eBay limit for standard parcel with appropriate insurance). Use Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day as the 2nd choice method for £10.60.
