I've just signed up to Auctiva, and the checkout is defaulted to Auctiva. I was just wondering if I should stay with this or should I change it to ebay's checkout. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

eBay, for sure. Especially in light of the virus stuff. When I buy something - I HATE to use Auctiva Checkout.
How do we switch?
Selling4aliving.... this is what auctiva's help page says.. not sure if you have to do something else in ebay... if so it would be in your preferences there...
If you would prefer to use eBay’s checkout, please disable Auctiva Secure Checkout:
Log into your Auctiva account
Click the My Account tab
Click the Checkout Settings link
Uncheck the box next to Use Auctiva Checkout Services
Save your settings
When I went to the checkout sittings link .. it was sooooo slow and the page looked real funny and all blue so don't know whats going on there.

D.J. I use ebay's.. never tried auctivas although some do like it with the lower insurance prices you can get..But I think you can still purchase the ins.. without having to use the checkout.. from comments I've read on auctiva's checkout is that it doesn't combine items well..

DJ, since you're new, I would use Ebay's checkout until you get the hang of Auctiva.
Although I agree with gypsy, paying through Auctiva checkout is a pain & some buyers are scared to use 3rd party checkouts.
Go to your account preferences and disable it from there. Look around and see if there's anything else you want to disable while you're there.
Other than that, you are going to love Auctiva. I'd recommend going to the FAQs and taking all the tutorials, they will help you tremendously.

Changed it. I didn't see anything saying that I had to go into Ebay.

I have the opposite problem - I want Auctivas checkout but customers are not being re-directed.
I checked all appropriate boxes and in Ebay I did all necessary in site preferences but I must be missing something - can you tell me the sequence?

Donna, when you sign up it is automatically enabled from what I remember...did you disable it?
Anyway, click on Account > settings > checkout settings and set it up from there. If you have a problem go to the help button and read the FAQs. I don't think you have to change anything in ebay but I'm not sure....
