Slow listing and image uploading

The speed at which it is uploading does depend on you upload speed, which is different to your download speed - check with your provider at what your upload speed is? My uploaded is 256k, and no problems, but we have a high use account.

I tried to upload a new listing yesterday about 6 p.m. and it still hasn't shown up in my active listings (let alone the search engines) at 6 a.m. the next day. That has NOTHING to do with my upload speed!

I spoke to ebay live chat and they have no record of my new listing, no fees have been charged. They said this is an Auctiva issue.

When it first didn't show up, I thought I must have hit "save" instead of "post" so I posted it AGAIN. Still not there.

TucsonTerry has got it right. It's nothing to do with upload or download speed. It's now about 1530 on Monday afternoon and I've just uploaded 30 images of about 200 to 230 Kb each in less than five minutes. There's nothing wrong with my upload speed there and this is how it used to be on Auctiva, an absolute breeze but I guarantee that if I'd tried to upload the same pictures after about 5 or 6 this evening it would have taken literally hours of frustration. It never used to be that bad, that's my point, something in Auctiva's system has changed and made things worse. Any other web site I use in the evenings is fine, I can download an ebay listing with images in seconds, watch a rerun of a BBC TV programme or a Youtube item with video without any problems so download is fine elsewhere but Auctiva grinds to a virtual halt. I would stress that the rest of the Auctiva site is fine, I can move around it without problems, it's the image and compiling a listing, even downloading a previous listing to edit brings the same problem. I have always listed in the early evening and it's not always possible to alter my routine.
