Hi,

I am new here, after over 24 hours of trying to create listings, I finally sent an email to support and seeking advice from others.

I have succeeded in listing 2 items out of the 10 I have been trying to list.

I am/was extremely excited about using this site, the simplicity, savings, templates and scheduling is what attracted me to it.

I followed all the sign up directions, updated IE, deleted cookies, turned off pop up blocker, etc, etc, etc.

Everytime I try to list something, the pop ups will time out or freeze my entire account after I open the first one.

I am just about ready to forget it. I understand free, but that does me no good at all, if I can't even use it.

Anyone else having these issues or is it just me??

I too, am having huge problems listing...freezing up and sooooooo slow. I have done everything also to clean up my computer and have used turbo lister with no problem...it is this site for sure, not our computers. I tried for hours yesterday to list something and never was able to list even one thing..Please, I love Auctiva and would love to be able to use it, and I have been using it for a long time, most of the time with no problems. Something is Wrong!!! Please fix it or at least let me know what else I can do on my end.

Which browser are you using? I am using IE 6 with absolutely no problem at all. I HAD upgraded to IE 7 but I uninstalled it--too many problems. I hear Firefox is good too (you can even download it from Auctiva's website), Since it sounds as if you've tried everything else, maybe this would be the solution. Auctiva has been running really smoothly for me lately (knock on wood). I would say try a different browser and see what happens. I don't see how it could be anything on Auctiva's end...if you have IE 7 try uninstalling it and go back to IE 6. Listing on Auctiva is a wonderful thing, would hate to see you miss out.
I have used IE 7, IE 6 AND Firefox and none of them are working good at all and I am truthfully going to give up I think. How can anyone run a business like this..2 or 3 hours to list one item???????? Give me a break. I do like Auctiva a lot but can not continue to have this happen..I have used Turbo lister with no problem and even sell your item form (one at a time) and even that is sooooo much faster than this site. I just don't understand. I have done everything I could think of doing..defrag, clean out cache, delete cookies...on and on..no luck! Frown
hiya all, yes i have had the same problems, it is not my computer as everything else is running ok, it is just auctiva site, i want to list many items with lots of pictures but it takes to long to get anywhere!! so i have given up, if auctiva do not do something about this problem then they are going too lose alot of people!! me included because i cannot afford to wait that long for pages to load. Confused
I don't have an answer for your problems, but just want to say that I listed several items last night and had no trouble at all. In fact, I've had no trouble listing anything since I started using Auctiva a few weeks ago.
I'm using Firefox and I have DSL, if that means anything.
Don't give up just yet. One thing I really like about Auctiva is that the folks who provide support really seem to want to help. I've had other issues with learning how to use the site, but support answered promptly and helped me figure things out.
(I noticed that most of you mentioned Turbo Lister. Maybe there's a conflict?)

Call your ISP or check a neighbor or someone elses computer. I don't see this as being a site problem.

AOL users for sure are having problems. Most of the people in this thread like 5 or 6 out of 7 are AOL customers. I'd call AOL and complain.

I've asked our IT department to work with our service provider to get in touch with AOL so we can find out what this problem is.
